Shaken or stirred? Glenn Greenwald’s new book on NSA leaker Edward Snowden is bound for the big screen — and it’s set to be produced by the same team behind the James Bond franchise.
Sony Pictures Entertainment just snapped up the movie rights to Greenwald’s “No Place to Hide: Edward Snowden, the NSA, and the U.S. Surveillance State,” Variety reports, with 007 producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli signed on.
The Hollywood mag doesn’t say how much Sony paid the Guardian reporter, who worked with former NSA contractor Snowden to expose a massive government spying program.
